LITTERING/ STRAY CATS AND DOGS

Stray Dogs

There have been an increasing number of stray dogs loitering around the neighbourhood. It has come to the attention of the residents that these stray dogs are from a forest near Valley Street. Residence are advised to distant themselves from the stray dogs as they are very vicious and dangerous. The recent incident happened to a Valley Street resident/chicken rice owner not too far from the market at Block 501. The attack was due to the resident carrying her groceries home along an alley between Block 502 and Block 503. This alley is a spot where most of the dogs stray around. This incident has caused the shop owner to not be able to open his stall and unable to resume his business for a couple of days, due to the severe injury suffered. Therefore, residents are advised to avoid the alley between Block 502 & 503 for safety reasons. Other than that, one can also spread the word around with regards to the recent incident.

Littering

The amount of litters amounting around Valley Street has caused quite a number of residents to fall ill due to the contaminations around it. The air is now contaminated and polluted. As residents of Valley Street, we should do our part to help take care of our area and also keep it clean. This is because it is inconsiderate to other residents and also unhygienic for everyone in Valley Street.

Cat Food

With the recent blog post about littering, 30% of the litters are cat food. Cat food is being placed around the neighbourhood.

The amount of cat food left around the neighbourhood has attracted quite a number of cats to stay put in Valley Street’s neighbourhood. The clowder of cats stays around due to the amount of cat food that is accessible to them. This cat food are being left all and around by cat lovers in Valley Street. These cat lovers have imposed the dangers of food contamination around the neighbourhood. This have then caused a serious food poisoning outbreak among the residents in Valley Street.
