LITTERING/ STRAY CATS AND DOGS
Stray Dogs
There have been an increasing number of stray
dogs loitering around the neighbourhood. It has come to the attention of the
residents that these stray dogs are from a forest near Valley Street. Residence
are advised to distant themselves from the stray dogs as they are very vicious
and dangerous. The recent incident happened to a Valley Street resident/chicken
rice owner not too far from the market at Block 501. The attack was due to the
resident carrying her groceries home along an alley between Block 502 and Block
503. This alley is a spot where most of the dogs stray around. This incident
has caused the shop owner to not be able to open his stall and unable to resume
his business for a couple of days, due to the severe injury suffered.
Therefore, residents are advised to avoid the alley between Block 502 & 503
for safety reasons. Other than that, one can also spread the word around with
regards to the recent incident.
Littering
The amount of litters amounting around Valley Street
has caused quite a number of residents to fall ill due to the contaminations
around it. The air is now contaminated and polluted. As residents of Valley
Street, we should do our part to help take care of our area and also keep it
clean. This is because it is inconsiderate to other residents and also
unhygienic for everyone in Valley Street.
Cat Food
With the recent blog post about littering, 30%
of the litters are cat food. Cat food is being placed around the neighbourhood.
The amount of cat food left around the
neighbourhood has attracted quite a number of cats to stay put in Valley
Street’s neighbourhood. The clowder of cats
stays around due to the amount of cat food that is accessible to them. This cat
food are being left all and around by cat lovers in Valley Street. These cat
lovers have imposed the dangers of food contamination around the neighbourhood.
This have then caused a serious food poisoning outbreak among the residents in
Valley Street. The food poisoning has affected more than 40% of the residents
here in Valley Street.
